Rockaway River Country Club
Awarded the 2009 MGWA Club of the Year, the course at Rockaway River Country Club is of moderate length; an easy walking course with but one climb at the 10th where there is a comfortable half-way house and a magnificent view down the Rockaway River. The front nine on the east bank of the river demands good length: the back nine on the west bank is slightly shorter and demands accuracy. Truly, the course is “tough for the tigers, easy for the rabbits”, challenging for the low handicapper, pleasurable for the average player.
