Getting ready for a great day walking and playing with Ed Tancer while we both raise money for our respective charities.
This year's Hike at Kingsley will be special for many reasons – the good we are doing for a great cause, my second Hike at a course I love, and my first Hike with a set of new clubs...
Fifty-four holes of golf with....one golf ball!!! Yes, I played 3 rounds in a little under 6 hours last Friday morning with a single Callaway HX Hot golf ball.
Its 8 hours until I hit the first shot and the adrenaline is starting to flow. Its unfortunate that James wont be able to hike tomorrow but there no need to risk it unless you can go all out.
With only 3 weeks to go before my inaugural hike, I figured I was long overdue for a blog update. For any golfer with 3 small kids, this was a perfect day.
Ok, I need to be honest here- my practice to date has been pretty much non-existent! I have played a grand total of 36 holes this year and have taken a (gulp) cart both times.
It's interesting to realize that playing with a full bag of clubs can hinder your ability to create shots when needed.
One of the things I always look forward to on the weekends is having breakfast at Duke's Lazy Loggerhead in Jupiter.
38 confirmed Chariots. Almost $7500 pledged/donated (assuming I reach my 108 hole goal) so far. I am AMAZED at the extremely generous support from our friends and family.
